Cargo Cool Cases

These cases are for decor & storage only. I wouldn't mind if the Traveler Suitcases were real though. I love retro looking suitcases! You can find all of these at Home Decorators Collection.

Fantasy Coach Bed

This is one of the craziest kids beds I have ever seen!! I'm not surprised that it costs $47,000. It's custom-made, after all!

From Posh Tots:
Wave your magic wand and this carriage may appear to make your little princess' dreams come true. This fanciful coach bed is the most extraordinary children's bed we've ever seen. Handcrafted in England of wood and fiberglass, the oval shaped interior measures just over 6 ft. in diameter. Construction and delivery time on this piece is over 6 months. The bar is set with this magnificent piece; it simply has no equal outside of fairy tales. Linens and interior options priced upon request. Pricing for the Fantasy Coach starts at $47,000 (subject to change); shipping charges are based on delivery location. Please contact a design consultant for further details.

A long, boring summer - that's what Anastasia has to look forward to when her best friend goes off to camp. She's thrilled when old Mrs. Bellingham answers her ad for a job as a Lady's Companion.  Anastasia is sure her troubles are over - she'll be busy and earn money!

But she doesn't expect to have to polish silver and serve at Mrs. Bellingham's granddaughter's birthday party as a maid!  As if that isn't bad enough, she accidentally drops a piece of silverware down the garbage disposal and must use her earnings to pay for it!  Is the summer destined to be a disaster?

Photo of the Day

I just watched the wonderfully weepy 1944 movie Since You Went Away and even though Guy Madison was only in it for a few scenes, he left such an impression that the film studio was inundated with letters wanting to know who he was. He sure was handsome!!!

Lucrezia Borgia by Maria Bellonci

Just added to my Half.com shop!

Condition: Very Good
Seller's Comments: Read once. Some shelfwear. See description for photo & more info.
Price: $1.00
Quantity: 1

Among the violent personalities of the High Renaissance, Lucrezia Borgia is chiefly remembered as a raven-haired poisoner. But the Lucrezia that Maria Bellonci depicts here is a passionate, womanly figure moving uncertainly through the Papal court and through the intrigues, ambitions and political chicanery that swirled about her.

Married three times for her family's political advantae Lucrezia also entertained, for her own pleasure, a long list of eminent lovers, particularly the poet Pietro Bembo. Her father, Pope Alexander VI, emerges as a fiercely devoted parent while the catlike and sinister Cesare Borgia is seen as a relentless and unscrupulous power-seeker.

Winner of the Viareggio Literary Award and the Galante Prize in Italy upon its first publication in 1953, this celebrated biography is, in the author's words, 'an eternal feminine story swinging between consent and rebellion'.

GROWING UP CAN REALLY BE THE PITS

At fourteen, Sylvia Eisenstein's beautiful long auburn hair and gorgeous eyes have earned her a place as a highly paid model, seen in countless magazine ads as the Miss Nature Coconut Creme Rinse Shampoo and Conditioner girl. She's a brat and she knows it, but she's also sitting on top of the world, so she really doesn't care. Yes, Sylvia's got it all - looks, fame, even a boy who's crazy about her.

Then beautiful, sexy, twelve-year-old Tammy turns up in front of the photographer's camera, and suddenly Sylvia is wondering if she's all washed up. Desperate, she tries to dream up something really spectacular to help her career, only to discover that sometimes spectacular isn't the way to go. Sometimes it's better just to be yourself...
