Lisa Petrucci Hawaiiana Honeys Prints

Lisa Petrucci, one of my favorite artists, sells merchandise on her website featuring some of her many fabulous designs. One such item that I absolutely love is the "Hawaiiana Honeys" set of 4 8" x 10" prints. The set sells for $25.00 USD (postage paid!) and features Wendy Wahine, Beach Babs, Sunny Surfer and Nautical Natalie. Very, very cute stuff. :)

Alexander Girard Alphabet Blocks

The best font company in the whole world, House Industries, also makes awesome merchandise. Case in point: the Alexander Girard Alphabet Blocks. Yeah, it's "for" kids, but any design-minded grown-up in your life will be sure to appreciate this Girard-inspired item. It comes with 28 wood blocks and retails for $100.00 USD.

Short Chinese Cheongsam Cocktail Dress

This dress is actually in my budget! I think I'm going to use some of my birthday money on it. I think it's way sexy! The dress comes in navy, red, lilac, black, and black-red and retails for $32.99 USD. The store, ChinaTowner, carries quite a few very cute and affordable asian-inspired dresses and separates.

On The Border Tortilla Chips

The tortilla chips they serve at the On The Border Restaurants are incredibly delicious. So light, so crispy, so tasty, so...huge! They are each half a tortilla! I guess the restaurant sells packaged chips in stores, but I highly doubt they taste as yummy as the ones they serve in the restaurants.

Atomic Ranch Magazine

Since I grew up in an Eichler, I have a special fondness for all types of mid-century architecture, particularily homes such as the one my parents own. There are quite a few design/architecture magazines out there that focus on the modern and post-modern, but my favorite of the bunch is Atomic Ranch Magazine. Yes, I am biased because it's heavy on Eichler stories, but it covers atomic era ranch houses too. A one-year/4 issue subscription is $19.95 USD.

Barbie Pin-Up Girls Collection

Barbie turns pin-up girl! Wow, I'm so glad Mattel started this line. I really hope they make more of these dolls. This line of dolls is inspired by the classic 40s-50s pin-up of yesteryear. The Hula Honey Barbie Doll to the left was designed by Anna Choi and retails for $39.98 USD.

Way Out West Barbie Doll ($39.98 USD)

Sailor Jerry Cowgirl Tattoo Chain Wallet

I am soooo not the tattoo type, BUT if I had to get a tattoo, I'd get a Sailor Jerry design, no question. His tattoo designs aren't just tattoos, imo, they are art. Luckily for Sailor Jerry fans, there is now a bunch of official merch, like tees, jackets, rings, barware, and purses, carrying his designs. One such item is this Cowgirl Tattoo Chain Wallet, which retails for $48.00 USD. It's 100% leather and comes in black.

The Dutchess by Fergie

I can't stop listening to this cd!!!! I have been a fan of Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie since the first time I saw her on star on Kids Incorporated. She's come a looooong way from those days, and she recounts her journey in some of the most moving songs on The Duchess, such as "Finally" and "Losing My Ground." The cd is on sale @ Amazon.com for only $9.72 USD right now!

Dolce Mia Designs Pin-up Girls Clock

This Pin-up Girls Clock is actually something I already own, but I am crazy about all the products from Dolce Mia Designs and wanted to share! I am sure I will be spotlighting some of their other fine products, such as frames and albums, in the future. The Pin-up Girls Clock comes in either a round shape ($52.00 USD) or a square shape ($48.00 USD).

There is a similar design featuring Pin-up Girls and Playing Cards with similar pricing. Trust me, it was hard to choose between which one I wanted more - I love 'em both so much!

The Busby Berkeley DVD Collection

This incredible collection of Busby Berkeley movies retails for $47.99 USD at Amazon.com. The inno is $349.99 USD.

COOL JEWELS ICE TRAY

I know it's just an ice cube tray, but I think the idea is clever! Why didn't anyone think of this earlier? Now you can have ice that looks like the expensive kind of 'ice'!!! Mix in a little food coloring to make rubies, emeralds, etc.! It's $7.99 USD at Perpetual Kid.

SpeckTone iPod Retro Speaker System

This stylish retro speaker system / dock for your ipod retails for $149.95 USD and comes in three different colors (black, white, green). It's compatible with all the docking ipods. From the folks at Speck Products.

Hootenanny Hellcat- Coupe ($330.00 USD)

These purses are the ultimate! You can have your Louis Vuitton, your Chanel, your Prada. I'll take one of the purses made by Revamp Productions ANY day over one of those. I'll take The Fury with a clutch ($390.00 USD) and the matching shoes ($175.00 USD), please!

The Disneyland Hotel!

One of my favorite places on this whole planet is Disneyland. I am, in fact, such a fan of the park and its creator, Walt Disney, that I probably border on fanatic! Everything about the park intrigues me, from the rides to the hotels to the history of how it all came to be. Finally, there is a book about the early history of the Disneyland Hotel. It's called Disneyland Hotel: The Early Years 1954-1988 by Donald W. Ballard. The book is incredible! For a full run-down on everything that's discussed in the book, visit MagicalHotel.com. There's a lot of great stuff on the website too, including scans that you won't find in the book, such as rare brochures and pictures of the hotel. If you are totally diggin' the rare pics, you can even purchase them as 5x7 or 8x10 prints.

The book retails for $47.50 USD.
