Unreleased Green Day Songs Being Played on Tour!

Green Day are currently touring the US right now (woohoo!) and so far, they've played 2 unreleased songs! One of them, Drama Queen, was apparently taken off 21st Century Breakdown to make room for Murder City. The other, Tell Me When It's Time to Say I Love You, was played last night at Madison Square Garden for the first time. It is supposedly an unreleased song from the American Idiot era. I love both and I hope official studio versions come out someday!

Public Library Barbie Clouds Cute Beige Top

This is one of the more unusual Barbie tops/tees I've come across (it looks kind of Peter Max-ish?) but I like it a lot!

LIFE Remembering Marilyn

LIFE Magazine has just released a special tribute book filled with beautiful photos of the beautiful Marilyn Monroe. I saw this at the grocery store tonight and bought it without hesitation. Amazon is pre-selling the hardcover version for $12.21, but the softcover is $11.99 and should be available now at most chain supermarkets and bookstores.

Robert Abel & Associates

Robert Abel & Associates made some of THE coolest looking commercials ever. They were also responsible for many tv idents back in the 70s & 80s, some of which heavily influenced the Justice "DVNO" video I posted a few days ago. AND they did special effects for Tron, The Andromeda Strain, and The Black Hole. I think it's so cool that Robert Abel started his career off doing film work for the incredible Saul Bass! To read more about Robert Abel and his team, visit here and here.

Here are just a few extraordinary career highlights!
